First of all, if for some reason you’ve stopped by my blog and reading this, a big thank you for visiting!

So who am I exactly?

My name is Bisola and I’m a Nigerian girl, born and raised, well until I was 15 when my family moved to the UK, where I now live and work. I’m an engineer and work a 9 to 5 like a lot of people but I’m determined to make the most of my annual leave seeing as much of the world as I can in 28-30days. Thou shalt never be an annual leave waste!

My mum is probably the source of my love for travel; she made sure she took us on holidays within Nigeria and resorts in our state, Lagos. She also owned a travel agency and I remember spending summers there learning how to use the booking system, booking flights for customers, applying for visas and accompanying her on airport runs.

When I was a broke student in uni, I had all the time but no money to travel; now I’m working and making some coins, not enough time! Life just feels like a huge practical joke sometimes doesn’t it? So I spend my lunch breaks browsing flights to random destinations and beautiful views (shhh).

I started this blog as a way to push myself way out of my comfort zone by sharing my experiences and inspire as many people as I can to do the same, live your absolute best life, pursue your passions, see the world and not be limited. Check out my very first post.

What can you expect?

I will be sharing my experiences travelling and trying to navigate life, pictures and helpful travel tips I’ve gathered and will continue to gather to hopefully inspire you to travel and make it easier for you. We all know it’s not super easy to see the world with a full time job but I’m determined not to let that stop me from doing just that. So I’ll be sharing how you can make the most of your annual leave/holiday days and see more of  the world with a full time job. I’ll also be introducing a series feature interesting, adventurous and inspiring travel stories that I find.

I want this to be a space where we can connect and interact  with other travellers and like-minded people so don’t be shy to send me a message or leave a comment, promise I’ll get back to you, scouts honour! I would like to create a community of people that love to travel and don’t let their job or life stop them from pursuing that passion.

I hope you’ll be inspired to live happy, pack a bag and go see the world!
