What do they say about writing things down and putting it in the universe and manifesting? I’m jumping on the train and writing a 2020 travel wishlist! Last week I shared some tips on how you too can travel more in 2020, make sure you check it out!

It’s been inspired a lot by Instagram haha, a lot of my favourite travellers and bloggers. Also by research, magazines, and my own interests. Obviously, the whole world is on my travel Wishlist, well most of it, haha, but let’s be realistic. I can’t do all that in a year as much as I would love to. So, I’ve narrowed my list down to these places for my 2020 travel Wishlist!
Go on a Gondola in Venice
Venice has been on my travel Wishlist for THE longest time! It was almost my 25th birthday location but I ended up in Rome instead which was great. Getting serenaded (or not) on a Gondola in Venice would be a dream come true and guess what? I’ve already booked it for this April!!!! Dance with me y’all!

Make like a movie star in Malta
Malta has recently made its way to my 2020 travel wishlist and this is because of people’s experiences and also one of my favourite shows, Queen of the South. Valetta was actually named Europe’s culture capital last year and as a culture buff, it’s right up my street!

Live my best life in Jamaica
Ah, Jamaica! This one has been on my travel wishlist for the last couple of years. Jamaica looks like ultimate vibe, like wow, just relax, drink rum, eat great food and enjoy. What could be better? I’m learning how to swim mostly because I want to visit Jamaica and be able to enjoy going to Martha Brae and the open in general. Wish me luck!

Safari in Nairobi
In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight! Come on, sing it with me haha. With vast luscious plains, Kenya is the place to experience a safari. I’ve always wanted to visit the Maasai Mara, experience a safari, visit one of the villages and see what life is like there. However, I do need to get a camera ready to take the most advantage of the opportunity, no more procrastination.

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Cappadocia
Cappadocia is one place that became super popular in 2019. Every time I looked there was a picture or ten of the hot air balloons in the read earth landscape of Cappadocia. Then there are the caves and ‘fairy chimneys’ in Goreme that formed over time from erosion! Cappadocia in short looks like the ultimate cultural adventure and an exciting add to the 2020 travel wishlist.

Go on an adventure in Costa Rica
Costa Rica has it all from lush rainforests and cloud forests to smoking volcanoes to beautiful white-sand beaches. Literally, everything and this is why it’s on my 2020 travel wishlist! It’s the perfect place for adventure from zip-lining, to paragliding to hiking, cliff jumping, it all happens here. The more I’ve heard or seen of it, the more I want to go!

Salsa in Havana
Havana oh na na! The city where time stood still. I love hoe full of culture Cuba is and how it manages to make dilapidation look beautiful. With immaculate beaches and vibrant beaches, there’s something that has been drawing me to Havana. I’m sure Havana will be an experience like no other.

Fall in Love in Lisbon & Porto
Lisbon oh Lisbon! Lisbon is a city that has evaded me year on year for so many reasons, mainly bad planning. But I’m determined to make it a certainty this year! Lisbon is a city that is full of life, full of surprises, delights and leaves you wanting to come back time and time again. From the colourful buildings to the diverse community and amazing food, Lisbon is firmly rooted in my 2020 travel wishlist.

Eat, Pray, Love in Bali
After I watched Eat, Pray, Love, I immediately started looking for flights to Bali! I looooove that movie! I’ve always thought about Bali as the place for ultimate relaxation and introspection which you can never get too much of. Swinging on the Bali swing, walking in the rice fields, getting a massage, what’s not to love??

Continue the solo tradition
I took my first solo trip in 2018 to Greece and I had THE best time! Since then I decided to take at least one solo trip every year. in 2019, I went to Bordeaux where I met some very interesting people. So we’ll see where this year takes me!

Detty my December in Lagos and Accra
After the whole world and their mum was either in Lagos or Accra last December, I cannot carry last once more. I must DETTY my December this year guys. I’m Nigerian so going back to Lagos will be a welcome treat considering I’ve only been back once in 15yrs!! The undisputed funnest and littest time to visit Lagos is December because there are so many events, concerts, parties, plays, and more to get into. Just need Jesus Christ and His angels to pick up my call and help provide me that ticket money cos dry January is not my portion!

So guys, please join me in prayer as we pray these into existence!! If you want to go to any of these countries as well, let’s combine prayers so God can do it for both of us. Lol all jokes aside, I hope this post has given you some inspiration if you weren’t sure where to head to this year. I’m looking forward to sharing more travels on this blog and continue to be better for you guys. I might need travel buddies so if you want to come with slide in my DMs, send me an email or comment on this post!
